Creative subject:Figures and cultural relics in the art museum
Narrative conception
Non-linear narrative
Block narrative structure & Narration interspersed with flashbacks
The project employs a narrative structure of "general-specific-general," which effectively maintains the autonomy of each episode while establishing a cohesive cognitive framework. In the character segment, three-dimensional portrayals of the three curators are achieved through parallel montage techniques. The cultural relics segment innovatively utilizes individual museum introductions to weave together the historical contexts of representative artifacts from the five major exhibition halls into compelling narratives. This approach revitalizes cultural heritage through a cyclical narrative model—linking "artifacts, stories, and spaces." The skills segment centers on the theme of "Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Contemporary Era." By documenting the daily practices of artisans and conservators, it illustrates the dynamic interplay between traditional craftsmanship and modern design, articulating the perspective that cultural preservation and modernization can be mutually inclusive despite their apparent contrasts.

First-person perspective
The film employs a first-person narrative perspective, significantly enhancing its immersive quality and emotional impact. This narrative choice, in conjunction with the regional cultural context of the Xishang Art Museum, the distinctive characteristics of the curatorial team, and the innovative approach of positioning cultural relics as narrators, contributes to a unique academic articulation of Xishang culture. As a vital repository of local heritage, the Xishang Art Museum provides a rich backdrop for this storytelling method. Through the "I" perspective, the personalities and behavioral patterns of curators Lei Ming, Lei Liang, and Qin Xiang are vividly portrayed—Lei Ming’s enthusiasm and spontaneity, Lei Liang’s composure and restraint, and Qin Xiang’s pragmatism and steadiness—thereby fostering deeper audience engagement. The subtle incorporation of the Lixian dialect further strengthens the authenticity and intimacy of the regional cultural expression. Moreover, by adopting cultural relics as first-person narrators, the film enables these artifacts to recount their own historical trajectories and existential journeys, enriching the narrative with philosophical depth and cultural complexity.

Post-production and technical application:Use of AIGC's innovative technology
Human voice
Based on the currently popular "aigc first-person commentary style", I made a bold attempt on this documentary. Sort out the content of the questions answered by the three directors and the speaking styles of each person into a textual context that conforms to their personalities and logic, and distinguish the personalities of the three directors as well as their respective original intentions for establishing the museum. In the cultural relics section, I have strung together the curator's explanations and introductions of the five exhibits in the museum into a three-minute story, also using a first-person perspective to give the audience an immersive experience.
Lens
Some scenes in the film that were difficult to obtain materials for actual shooting were made breakthroughs by AIGC technology. Take time-lapse photography of ancient buildings as an example. I repeatedly interacted with AI to refine it. By adjusting the prompt words (such as light and shadow effects, composition and layout) and parameter Settings, I gradually corrected the detail deviations of the generated images, and ultimately precisely achieved artistic expression
